Mission
"To produce teachers with a high purpose and intense pragmatism who will be the change agents in future." The specific vision and the mission enhance the long-range perspective of the College, particularly in relation to the cause of teacher education. This lends itself to the enunciation of specific goals to be achieved. The vision and the mission statements of the College focus on the two aspects, viz. the holistic approach, and the cardinal principle of equality.
Purpose
For Students- The purpose of our college education, as far as the student is concerned, is
- To equip him with knowledge that he can use throughout his life.
- To enable students to explore and broaden their horizons.
- To equips students with essential life skills and help him to move towards excellence.
- To bring about profoundness to one's emotions, to broaden one's perspectives and to lead to a healthier approach of looking at life.
For Parents/Guardians-
For a parents/Guardians, the very purpose of our college education is to enable the teacher trainee to probe the realms of thought and access real higher learning.
For Teachers-
- To mould teachers who are knowledgeable and compassionate in their professional practice, creative and reflective in designing and assessing classroom performance, and who are guided by a sense of social and ethical
responsibility to the students and wider society. - To enrich our classroom practices with the best of current research in teaching, learning and classroom planning.

Learning environment
- The learning environment is seen as a product that needs to be developed. This development includes recognizing a need, understanding the need, proposing solutions to meet the need, introducing the product into service, and measuring the outcomes.
